What is the difference between closed fire sprinkler system and open fire sprinkler system?India, Vietnam, Iran

The fire sprinkler system is divided into closed fire sprinkler system and open fire sprinkler system. Different types of systems have different working principles of sprinkler heads. Today, the fire sprinkler manufacturer will talk about the difference between these.

A Closed fire sprinkler system

At ordinary times, the roof fire water tank is full of water. When a fire occurs, the temperature sensing element of the fire sprinkler melts when the temperature reaches a certain temperature (generally 68 ), and the water in the pipe will automatically spray out under the action of the roof fire water tank. At this time, the wet alarm valve will automatically open, and the pressure switch in the valve will automatically open. This pressure switch has a signal line interlocked with the fire pump, and the pump will automatically start. Then the spray pump supplies the water in the pool to the pipe network through the pipeline, and the whole fire protection system starts to work.

B Open fire sprinkler system

1. Some systems are equipped with smoke detectors to detect the smoke. When the smoke reaches a certain concentration, the smoke detectors give an alarm, which is fed back to the action of the audible and visual alarm after being confirmed by the host, giving a sound or flashing light to warn people, and the linkage smoke control fan is started to start smoke exhaust. At the same time, open the solenoid valve of the deluge valve, and spray water directly in the linkage spray pump and the open fire sprinkler.

2. Some rely on smoke sensors to work. There is an infrared transmitting device and a receiving device on the smoke sensor. In normal times, the infrared is emitted, and the receiving device on the opposite side can receive it normally. This is like a wire, which is in the access state and controls the valve of the fire pipe, which is closed. Once smoke comes out, the smoke will be like a wall, blocking the infrared ray. At this time, the infrared ray receiving device will not receive the infrared ray from the opposite side. Once the "circuit" is blocked, the fire pipe valve will lose the power and open the water spray.

In addition, there are ion smoke alarms. Ion smoke alarms are more sensitive to small smoke particles, and can respond evenly to various kinds of smoke. Their performance is better than photoelectric alarms.
