How to design the water flow indicator, alarm valve group, fire sprinkler, pressure switch and end water test device

Design requirements for water flow indicator, alarm valve group, nozzle, pressure switch and end water test device:
1、 Sprinkler head

1. For places with closed system, the sprinkler head type and the minimum and maximum headroom of the place shall comply with the specifications; Sprinklers only used to protect indoor steel roof trusses and other building components and places with built-in sprinklers on shelves shall not be subject to the restrictions specified in this table.
2. The nominal operating temperature of sprinkler head of closed system should be 30 ℃ higher than the minimum ambient temperature.
3. The type selection of sprinklers for wet system shall meet the following requirements:
1) In places where there is no wall, if the water distribution branch pipe is arranged under the beam, the vertical sprinkler head shall be used;
2) The sprinklers arranged under the suspended ceiling shall be sagging sprinklers or suspended ceiling sprinklers;
3) As a horizontal plane, the roof of residential buildings, dormitories, hotel rooms, medical building wards and offices of light hazard and medium hazard class I can use side wall sprinklers;
4) For the parts that are not easy to be collided, the sprinkler with protective cover or the ceiling sprinkler shall be used;
5) Where the roof is a horizontal plane and there are no barriers such as beams and ventilation ducts that affect sprinkler sprinkling, the sprinkler with expanded coverage area can be used;
6) Residential buildings, dormitories, apartments and other non residential buildings should use household sprinklers;
7) Concealed sprinklers should not be used; If it is necessary to use it, it should only be used in the places with light and medium hazard class I.
4. The dry system and the pre action system shall adopt the vertical sprinkler or the dry drooping sprinkler.
5. The nozzle selection of the water curtain system shall meet the following requirements:
1) The fire separation water curtain shall adopt open sprinkler or water curtain sprinkler;
2) The protective cooling water curtain shall adopt the water curtain nozzle.
6. The side wall sprinkler head can be used for the manual water spraying protective cooling system.
7. Quick response sprinklers should be used in the following places. If rapid response sprinklers are used, the system shall be considered as a wet system.
1) Public entertainment places and atrium corridors;
2) Wards and treatment areas of hospitals and sanatoriums, and collective activity places for the elderly, children and the disabled;
3) Floors exceeding the water supply height of fire pump adapter;
4) Underground commercial places.
8. Sprinklers with similar thermal sensitivity shall be used in the same compartment.
9. Similar sprinklers shall be used in the protection area of the deluge system.
10. The manual sprinkler system shall be equipped with standby sprinklers, the number of which shall not be less than 1% of the total number, and each model shall not be less than 10.
2、 Alarm valve group

1. The manual sprinkler system shall be equipped with alarm valve group. The closed system protecting indoor steel roof truss and other building components shall be equipped with an independent national alarm valve group. The water curtain system shall be equipped with an independent national alarm valve group or a temperature sensing deluge alarm valve.
2. Other manual sprinkler systems connected in series to the water distribution main of the wet system shall be equipped with alarm valve groups of independent countries in turn, and the number of sprinklers controlled by them shall be included in the total number of sprinklers controlled by the wet alarm valve groups.
3. The number of sprinklers controlled by an alarm valve group shall meet the following requirements:
1) The number of wet system and pre action system should not exceed 800; The number of dry systems should not exceed 500;
2) When the water distribution branch pipe is equipped with sprinklers to protect the space above and below the ceiling, only the sprinklers on the remaining side of the number comparison shall be included in the total number of sprinklers controlled by the alarm valve group.
4. The elevation difference between the lowest and highest sprinkler heads for water supply of each alarm valve group should not be greater than 50m.
5. The inlet of solenoid valve of deluge alarm valve group shall be equipped with filter. The deluge system with deluge alarm valve group set in series shall have a check valve at the inlet of the control chamber of the deluge alarm valve.
6. The alarm valve group should be set at a safe and easy to operate location, and the highest point of the alarm valve from the ground should be 1.2m. Drainage facilities shall be set at the position where alarm valve group is set.
7. The control valve connecting the inlet and outlet of the alarm valve shall be a signal valve. If the signal valve is never used, the control valve shall be equipped with a lock to lock the valve position.
8. The working pressure of the hydraulic alarm bell shall not be less than 0.05MPa and shall meet the following requirements:
1) It should be located near the place where people are on duty or on the external wall of the public passage;
2) The pipe diameter connected with the alarm valve shall be 20mm, and the total length shall not be less than 20m.
3、 Water flow indicator

1. Except that the sprinkler controlled by the alarm valve group only protects the places on the same floor that never exceed the area of the fire compartment, each fire compartment and each floor shall be equipped with a water flow indicator.
2. Water flow indicators shall be set for sprinkler heads under the roof and built-in sprinkler heads on the shelves in the warehouse.
3. If a control valve is set in front of the inlet of the water flow indicator, a signal valve shall be used.
4、 Pressure switch
1. Pressure switch shall be adopted for water flow alarm device of deluge system and fire separation water curtain.
2. The manual sprinkler system shall use pressure switch to control the stabilized pressure pump, and shall be able to adjust the start and stop pressure.
5、 End water test device
1. The sprinkler at the most unfavorable point controlled by each alarm valve group shall be equipped with an end water test device, and other fire compartments and floors shall be equipped with a water test valve with a diameter of 25 mm.
2. The end water test device shall be composed of water test valve, pressure gauge and water test connector. The flow coefficient of the outlet of the water test joint shall be equal to the sprinkler head with the smallest flow coefficient on the same floor or in the fire compartment. The outlet water from the end water testing device shall be discharged into the drainage pipe by means of orifice discharge. The drainage riser shall be provided with a vent pipe extending from the top, and the pipe diameter shall not be less than 75mm.
3. The end water test device and water test valve shall be marked, with a distance of 1.5m from the highest point on the ground, and measures that will never be used by others shall be taken.
