Working principle of deluge alarm valve system

The deluge manual sprinkler system is suitable for places with slow fire spreading speed and rapid fire development, such as the storage and processing of various inflammable and explosive materials. It is often used in inflammable and explosive factories, warehouses, oil and gas storage stations, theatres, studios and other places.
The place with one of the following conditions shall adopt the deluge system:
(1) The horizontal spreading speed of the fire is slow, and the opening of the closed sprinkler can never immediately spray water to accurately cover the fire area.
(2) The highest point of all living beings in the room is relatively low, and it is necessary to quickly put out the end-stage fire.
(3) Places with slight hazard level II.
The deluge manual sprinkler system is composed of open sprinkler, deluge alarm valve group, pipeline and water supply facilities. It is controlled by the fire alarm manual alarm system or transmission pipe. After manually opening the deluge alarm valve and starting the water supply pump, it is an automatic sprinkler system that supplies water to the open sprinkler.
When a fire occurs in the protection area, the temperature and smoke detector detects the fire signal, and indirectly opens the solenoid valve of the diaphragm deluge valve through the fire alarm and extinguishing controller, so that the water in the pressure chamber can be quickly discharged. Because the pressure chamber is relieved, the water acting on the upper part of the valve disc rapidly pushes the valve disc, and the water flows into the working chamber, The water flows to the whole pipe network to extinguish the fire (if the personnel on duty find a fire, the automatic slow opening valve can also be fully opened to realize the action of the deluge valve). In addition, a part of the pressure water flows to the alarm pipe network, causing the hydraulic alarm bell to give an alarm and the pressure switch to act, giving a signal to the duty room or indirectly starting the fire pump to supply water.
The rain shower system, wet system, dry system and pre action system are the most common areas. Open sprinkler is used. As long as the system operates, it will spray water completely within the protection area.
The wet system, dry system and pre action system are not effective for the fire with rapid fire and rapid spread. The reason is that the opening speed of the sprinkler is significantly slower than the fire burning speed. Only after the rain shower system is started, the water can be completely sprayed within the designed action area, and such fire can be accurately controlled and extinguished.
The deluge alarm valve is a one-way valve that is opened by electric, mechanical or other methods to enable water to automatically flow into the water spray system in one direction and to alarm. Deluge alarm valve is a special valve widely used in various open automatic sprinkler systems, such as deluge system, water curtain system, water mist system, foam system, etc.
According to the structure, the deluge alarm valve can be divided into diaphragm deluge alarm valve, push rod deluge alarm valve, piston deluge alarm valve and butterfly valve deluge alarm valve.
1. Diaphragm type deluge alarm valve is a deluge alarm valve that uses diaphragm movement to open and close the valve flap, and the diaphragm movement is controlled by the pressure on both sides.
2. The push rod type deluge alarm valve realizes the opening and closing of the valve disc by the left and right movement of the diaphragm.
